Simulator Operator

Applications are now being solicited from highly motivated individuals
for immediately available, Simulator Operator for the United States
School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM), supporting CSTARS operations
located in Cincinnati, OH at University Hospital.

This is a very dynamic position. The incumbent will provide technical
expertise and support on operating a high-tech Human Patient Simulator
(HPS) and/or Emergency Care Simulator systems, and assist in developing
metrics to validate a simulation-based team-training program, and
provide technical and analytic support for the team training program.
State of the art tools will enable the person to achieve a variety of
processes providing significant impact for USAFSAM and the field of
Aerospace medicine.

The incumbent will also work with the hospital to provide digital video
recording in support of simulator training/scenarios, pre/post trauma
assessments, and for advanced training platforms. Incumbents will be
required to operate government vehicles; requiring a valid state or
commercial license be used as certification to operate specified
vehicles and maybe required to travel to C-STARS St Louis to assist with
their simulation program.

This is a full time position. The incumbent will serve as a contract
employee working for SpecPro, Inc. a highly

Required Knowledge/Skills

- Must be at a minimum a certified paramedic/EMT

- Knowledge of procedures and techniques necessary to operate/provide
direct technical support for the Human Patient Simulator (HPS) system.

- All products and electronic files resulting from this effort will
become the property of the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine.

The candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and
must have a U.S. citizenship or the ability to obtain citizenship, and
be able to pass a government background investigation.
