    Dear Colleague

    Due to a large number of requests we are extending the deadline
    for the submission of Extended Abstracts and Full-length Papers
    to the ICABB-2010, Venice, Italy, October 14-16, 2010:
    http://www.icabb-iss.org

    Please take notice that both:
    Extended Abstracts; OR, Full-length Papers
    can be submitted on line by the extended deadline: June 28, 2010 .

    Both Extended Abstracts and Full-length Papers will be peer reviewed.

    The acceptance/rejection notification of Extended Abstracts and
    Full-length Papers will be sent to the authors by email by
    August 31, 2010.

    The authors of accepted Extended Abstracts and Full-length Papers
    can submit their Final manuscripts in camera-ready format by
    September 17, 2010.

    Both, accepted Extended Abstracts and accepted Full-length Papers
    will appear as Regular Papers or Short Papers in the ICABB-2010
    Proceedings.

    Extended Abstracts and Full-length Papers, accepted as Regular
    Papers or Short Papers, both will be allocated oral presentations
    of the same length of time in the Technical Sessions of the
    ICABB-2010 Program.

    PAPER SUBMISSION

    Full-length Papers or Extended Abstracts (for Short Papers or Poster Papers)
    can be submitted.

    For submission instructions please visit the above ICABB-2010 Web site.

    Notice that all submissions will be peer reviewed. A selection of accepted
    Regular Papers and Short Papers will be considered for publication in
    Applied Bionics and Biomechanics

    All the accepted submissions would appear in the ICABB-2010 Proceedings
    in double column format (including tables/figures) as follows:
    Full-length Papers: Regular Paper --> 6 to 8 pages.
    Full-length Papers: Short Paper --> 4 to 5 pages.
    Extended Abstract: Short Paper --> 3 to 5 pages.
    Extended Abstract: Poster Paper --> up to 2 pages max
    (in addition to the wall Poster presentation).

    Full Papers and Extended Abstracts accepted as Regular Papers or Short Papers
    both will be allocated the same length of time for the oral presentations in
    the Technical Sessions of the ICABB-2010 Program.

    The Paper submitted in double column format as a Full-length Paper should be
    a maximum (including tables/figures) of 8 pages; whereas, a Paper submitted
    as an Extended Abstract should be at least 1500 words in length.

    The IPC of the ICABB-2010 is made of colleagues from the Editorial Board
    of Applied Bionics and Biomechanics, and many other colleagues in affine
    fields/areas to cover a wide scope of expertise (Bionics, Biomechanics,
    Biomedicine, Bioengineering, Robotics, etc.). We have already over 100
    colleagues in the IPC with a wide and diverse expertise.
