Post-doc Position in Medical Robotics

The Institute for Biomechanics (IfB) carries out teaching and research in the area of mechanics of the musculo-skeletal system and movement from the macroscopic to the microscopic level, the basic elements of life and growth,
The main task involves the further development of an x-ray robot, both hardware and software, as well as a general support for ongoing research projects.
Furthermore, assistance in writing publications and research proposals for new projects is expected.
Requirement profile:
You possess initiative and have a responsible personality. You are able to carry out the various tasks with commitment and enthusiasm in an independent and efficient way. You are interested in scientific work and are a team player. We expect a PhD in robotics or mechatronics as well as in-depth knowledge of image processing and programming under Windows. You have very good English language skills both orally and in written. A good understanding of German is advantageous.
Organizationally you would work in the Instrumentation and Information Technology Group (I2T).
This is a 100% position for a period of 2 years.
We offer an exciting and varied position in an international scientific environment. The workplace is at the modern campus Science City of the ETH Zurich.
