    POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

    ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (CLINICAL)
    PROGRAM IN PHYSICAL THERAPY
    COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS, COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY

    The Program in Physical Therapy, College of Physicians and Surgeons of
    Columbia University invites applications for a 12-month full-time
    faculty position in our entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.

    Salary and academic rank (Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of
    Clinical Physical Therapy) will be based on qualifications and
    experience. We invite candidates to join an outstanding Program with 11
    faculty members at a Research-I institution with strong clinical
    collaborations with New York Presbyterian Hospital.

    Preferred candidates will be physical therapists eligible for licensure
    in New York State with a post-professional doctoral degree (PhD, ScD,
    EdD), effective teaching experience at the University level, and
    evidence of scholarship productivity. Candidates with a clinical
    doctorate (DPT) with advanced clinical competency credentials and a
    minimum of 5 years clinical experience will be considered.

    Preferred candidates should have one or more areas of expertise in
    Foundational Sciences (Physiology, Histology, Pathology or
    Pharmacology), Clinical Science in physical therapy, interest in
    web-based instruction and/or clinical education. Responsibilities
    include teaching Doctor of Physical Therapy students, student advising,
