*ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in NEUROIMAGING and REHABILITATION SCIENCES*

The Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences (DPTHMS),
Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine invites applicants
for a new full-time, 12-month appointment on the non-tenure clinical
scholar track in the area of neuroimaging and rehabilitation sciences.
The applicant that will be chosen for this position will be on three
year, and once promoted to full professor, six year contracts that will
be renewed depending on performance. Salary is negotiable.
Ideal applicants should demonstrate doctoral and postdoctoral training
in signal analysis and neuroimaging relevant to the field of
movement-related rehabilitation sciences. Applicants should demonstrate
a successful record of research, reflected in extramural grant
acquisition and publications in high quality peer-reviewed journals.
Prior experience with research in human subjects following brain
injuries, combined with a strong background in brain imaging and signal
processing is required. It is anticipated that this faculty member will
contribute to the department and the professional (Doctor in Physical
Therapy) and post professional (Doctoral programs in engineering and
neuroscience) educational programs through supervision of sponsored
research, student advising, teaching, and department committee
responsibilities. Collaborations with faculty in the Departments of
PTHMS, Biomedical, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering as well as in
our interdepartmental neuroscience program are available and will be
strongly encouraged. Furthermore, adjunct positions in collaborating
engineering departments will be explored and encouraged.
