  • Graduate student position available in Motor Control

    A funded graduate student position in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Texas at El Paso is available. The position is funded for up to two years with additional teaching assistantships also available. The position may be at the Master's or PhD level.

    Research Area
    Projects in the Motor Control Laboratory focus on examining postural
    responses to varying visual stimuli. The laboratory is equipped with a
    virtual reality suite, eye tracking, and motion capture. Current
    projects include special populations such as older adults and those
    with neurological deficits. The laboratory also has the advantage of
    being closely linked to the Physical Therapy Department at the
    University of Texas at El Paso.

    Applicants should have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or
    related field. The ideal start date is Fall 2010, however a start date of Spring 2011
    may be negotiable.
