Assistant/Associate Faculty Position Announcement
Winston-Salem State University (WSSU), a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina system, is a historically black university recognized for its diverse student population and regional service.
The Department of Physical Therapy invites applications for a 12-month, full-time faculty position. Rank, salary, and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Position Summary: The faculty member should have demonstrated expertise in pediatric content both in teaching and in clinical research. In addition to teaching (classroom and online) and student mentoring, the faculty member will direct grant-supported pediatric research in the Human Performance and Biodynamics Laboratory (www.biodynamicslab.org), a collaborative venture between WSSU and Wake Forest University. Pediatric clinical specialization (PCS) desirable, but not required.
