    Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center

    The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital
    Medical Center is presently seeking a PhD level engineer to build and
    lead a motion analysis laboratory. Qualified candidates must have a
    terminal degree in Biomedical Engineering or similarly appropriate
    field. Clinical exposure to gait assessment and treatment is highly
    preferred. Previous managerial experience and current professional
    engineering licensure or equivalent also preferred. Faculty appointments
    are granted through the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine
    and the level/rank will be commensurate with candidate’s experience.

    This is a unique opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team
    consisting of a biomedical engineer/kinesiologist and physical and
    occupational therapists who will collaborate with rehabilitative
    medicine, orthopaedic surgery and neurology physicians to provide the
    best possible orthopaedic care for our young patients with motion
    disorders. The Director of the Motion Analysis Lab will be responsible
    for the supervision and operation of Biomedical and Rehabilitation
    Engineering and the Gait Laboratory.

    Cincinnati Children’s Hospital has one of the largest neuromuscular
    patient populations and the largest pediatric physical therapy
    department in the country and is looking to develop a comprehensive
    multidisciplinary pediatric neuromuscular program. Cincinnati Children’s
