This dynamic multidisciplinary School offers courses of study in a diverse range of health-related discipline areas such as Exercise Science & Rehabilitation, Medical & Health Sciences, Nutrition & Dietetics, Occupational Health & Safety, and Public Health. Our programs allow students to choose professionally accredited courses that focus on developing discipline-specific knowledge and skills, or courses that provide a more broadly based University education in human health. All courses are underpinned by a strong commitment to scientific principles, and access to state-of-the-art teaching facilities. To compliment the academic courses, the School's innovative research environment boasts cutting edge facilities, which are staffed by internationally renowned researchers, with research ranging from molecular biology to animal studies and applied human intervention trials. We actively encourage students to become involved in research opportunities throughout the School and University, and encourage the pursuit of postgraduate research opportunities through Master of Science (Research) and PhD programs. The primary purpose of the position is to continue to cultivate a dynamic collaborative environment that will foster excellence and innovation in research, teaching and community engagement across all discipline areas of the School, and to promote these School activities locally, nationally and internationally. The successful applicant will also provide effective management to support the endeavours of staff and students within the School so they can fully develop their academic potential.
