Dear Sirs/Madam,
I am currently undertaking research with trans-femoral amputees. Part of the research will involve motion analysis of the participants' lower limbs including their prosthesis/-es.
I found a previous discussion regarding correct marker placement for lower limb prostheses very useful I was wondering if anyone could advise the most appropriate marker placement for participants who use "Blades"? An initial thought was to place motion analysis markers equal distance along the length of the blade and apply a spinal model at the data modelling stage, would there be any reason why this would not be appropriate?
Thank you,
Yours faithfully,
