Hello I am a new faculty member at the University of Victoria developing a
³Qualitative Biomechanics" course to be offered to students in physical
education, science based kinesiology and health and recreation. The main
objective of this class is to introduce students to concepts in biomechanics
and apply biomechanical principles to the observation, evaluation and
correction of movement activities in sport, ADL, and injury. I plan to
present aspects of the Hay and Reid method of qualitative analysis and lab
activities will focus on video based qualitative analysis using dartfish. I
was wondering if anyone has developed lab activities that could be useful to
this class (using dartfish or any other comparable image analysis software)I would truly appreciate any advice or lab material that could be shared.
Thank-you!
Sincerely,
Marc Klimstra
