    >RESPONSIBILITIES:
    >Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in rehabilitation science,
    >biomechanics, and related areas. Engage in research leading to
    >peer-reviewed publications. Seek external funding to support and
    >promote research. Individuals appointed at the rank of Associate
    >Professor will be expected to have an established record of
    >published research focused in an area related to rehabilitation
    >science and evidence of successful extramural funding. Mentor and
    >supervise graduate and undergraduate students in laboratory-based
    >experiences. Participate in the development of the rehabilitation
    >science program by collaborating with other faculty and
    >professionals in the local community. Engage in university,
    >community, and professional service.

    >QUALIFICATIONS: Earned doctorate in rehabilitation science,
    >biomechanics, physical therapy, sports medicine, bioengineering, or
    >closely related area required. Research interests in areas related
    >to interdisciplinary rehabilitation science such as aging and
    >functional impairment, cognitive/neurological impairment, or disease
    >and associated disabilities.
    >SALARY: Commensurate with credentials and experience.
    >ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The School of Exercise and Nutritional
    >Sciences has 18 full-time faculty, 20 part-time faculty, 5.6 support
    >staff, and 1350 undergraduate Kinesiology majors, 300 undergraduate
    >Foods and Nutrition majors, and 110 graduate students. The School is
    >in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts, one of seven
    >colleges at San Diego State University. The School offers a
    >bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, with emphases in Pre-Physical
    >Therapy, Athletic Training, pedagogy, and Fitness, Nutrition and
    >Health; a bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition; and master's
    >degrees in Kinesiology (including a specialization in Rehabilitation
