Dear Biomch-L users,
We are currently learning the ins-and-outs of a 6-camera motion capture system.
In 1999, Dr. James Richards used a testing device to compare different optical motion capture systems (The measurement of human motion: A comparison of commercially available systems, Human Movement Science, 18, 589-602). This device has markers
attached to the base and a bar rotating at 60 rpm.
1) Where can I find more info about this testing / calibration device?
2) Is such device commonly used in other laboratories?
3) Some industries use round-robin tests to verify and validate test and measuring equipment (and set-up procedures). Any such tests with motion capture systems?
I would very much appreciate any information you can give. Thank you.
