    Applications are now being solicited from highly motivated individuals
    for an immediately available Functional Analyst position in San Antonio,
    Texas.



    The available position is Full Time in direct support of the Office of
    the Chief Medical Information Officer (OCMIO), under the Office of the
    Surgeon General, U.S. Army with the following located in San Antonio,
    Texas at Fort Sam Houston and will provide the following:



    -Support clinical requirements management projects and initiatives in
    accordance with industry best practices and Department of Defense
    guidelines.

    -Provide acute care clinical expertise in support of the requirements
    management projects for the Chief, Business Process Management Branch
    and assists with functional requirements analysis, management and
    documentation as a component of the systems lifecycle process.

    -Facilitate and support work groups composed of functional and technical
    SMEs using best practices, tools, techniques and methodologies.

    -Works with BPM Analysts to conduct clinical work flow analysis, data
    flow analysis, concept of operation, analysis of alternatives, and
    market research.

    -Supports the development of requirements artifacts and documentation,
    work with end user groups to identify technical solutions to business
    problems or inefficiencies, and develop metrics and performance measures
    based on industry trends, quality indicators, and outcome standards.

    -Interface with clinical staff, conducting initial interviews and
    surveys, consolidate all BPM and requirements artifacts and submit to
    the Chief, BPM for decision and disposition.

    -Conduct initial interviews, surveys, and questionnaires as a component
    of the requirements management projects, provides reports and maintains
    a repository of results.

    -Support the development of requirements management documents and
    products in accordance with industry standards and/or Department of
    Defense Guidelines, to include, but not limited to Concept of Operations
    (CONOPS), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), Business Case Analysis
    (BCA).

    -Conduct market research and analysis of alternatives as a component of
    concept definition and requirements determination in accordance with DoD
    guidelines, participate in validating architecture products and
    artifacts based on knowledge and expertise in clinical practice and
    clinical workflow.

    -Collaborate with end users on development of quality metrics and
    outcomes measures based on industry standards, TJC standards, and MHS/
    AMEDD patient safety and performance metrics.

    -Develops reports and in progress reviews/ updates for each BPM project
    to be presented to OCMIO leadership, maintain repository of all
    Requirements Management project artifacts and documents utilizing DoD
    repository or software application.

    -Coordinate and attend site visits as directed to support Requirements
    Management projects. Submit trip reports and after action reports in
    accordance with Army and AMEDD guidelines.

    Education and Experience

    -Registered Nurse (RN) and Bachelors degree in a related field; prefer
    Masters Degree

    -Directly related experience; prefer candidates with government/DOD
    experience



    Candidates MUST have U.S. citizenship or the ability to obtain
    citizenship, and be able to pass a government background investigation.
