Application Engineer-Medical Software (North America)
Have you used our Mimics software for processing CT/MRI data to 3D? Do you enjoy working in a 3D CAD-like environment? Are you passionate about working with people to solve their application problems? Then, you may be just the person that we're looking for. We have an exciting opportunity in our Plymouth, MI office. As an Application Engineer, you will support the Mimics software line in North America in a variety of ways.
Primary Focus of Position:
* Support customers in the most optimal use of our Mimics Innovation Suite software
* Join sales staff at customer visits to provide technical demonstrations
* Provide technical support to internal sales team
* Conduct training classes for customers
* Assist with technical expertise at trade shows
* Test and support software during development stage
Skills and Abilities:
* 2 - 5 years relevant work experience required
* MS in engineering or computer science preferred, BS considered
* Excellent computer skills are essential
* Good communication and problem solving skills a must
* Experience with Mimics or 3D Medical Modeling strongly preferred
* Medical background and FEA/CFD experience a plus
