Project Coordinator I Position at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles
Childrens Hospital Los Angeles is now recruiting for a new Project
Coordinator I position to work with Tishya Wren, PhD and the staff of
the John C. Wilson Jr. Motion analysis Laboratory. The Project
Coordinator I will assist Dr. Wren by performing a variety of technical,
scientific and administrative functions, including independent
collection, assembly and analysis of data for research projects;
preparation of reports and manuscripts for publication; review of
medical/scientific literature; preparation of grant proposals; computer
data entry and database management; coordination of CCI/IRB processes;
and coordination of patient encounters.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, engineering or
scientific field. One year experience with collection and processing of
research data, research project design and methodology; research
database management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Working knowledge of research
methods and data analysis and processing. Ability to communicate
effectively and tactfully, verbally and in writing. Thorough knowledge
of computer software including word processing and spreadsheet, and
database applications. Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Technical background and experience with Matlab preferred. Bilingual
English/Spanish preferred.
