JOB OPENING FOR LAB TECHNICIAN AT ANATOMY DEPARTMENT UNIVERSITY OF
LEUVEN CAMPUS KORTRIJK (BELGIUM)
We are urgently looking for a technician to support the technical, logistic and
administrative duties of the Anatomy division at the Katholieke Universiteit
Leuven Campus Kortrijk. Main duties of the appointed person will be the
preparation and organisation of the practical sessions of the Anatomy course in
the Bachelor's Degree Medicine.
Your role:
• Organisation and preparation of the dissection exercises as part of the
Human Anatomy course;
• Providing logistic support to the Human Anatomy course: supply,
management and maintenance of anatomical models and didactic material;
• Administrative support to the anatomical bequeathal programme;
• Preservation of human tissues and bodies;
• Giving support to medical students during practical sessions;
• Demonstrating human anatomy;
• Maintenance of the dissection room and material.
Your profile:
• You have a Bachelor degree and/or relevant experience in the
educational, social, medical or paramedical sector;
• You have a basic knowledge of Chemistry and Biology and have a strong
interest in Anatomy;
• You are honest, keen to learn and like to take initiative;
• You are good in organising, planning and coordinating;
• You have good communication and social skills;
• You are fluent in Dutch or are willing to learn Dutch;
• Flexible working hours are no problem for you.

• A full-time appointment as technician (ATP) at the Katholieke Universiteit
Leuven Campus Kortrijk;
• A contract of one year, with a good chance to obtain a long-term
