I am curious to know what solutions fellow BIOMECH-L users have developed to deal with step crossover on force plates.

My experience with this issue involves the bilateral instrumented treadmill Ideally, the subject walks on a treadmill with the right foot always landing on the right force plate, and the left foot always landing on the left force plate. However, what we occasionally see is a cross over where the right foot may partially land on the left force plate of vice versa. The issue is that we are unable to analyze the individual right and left ground reaction forces from these steps. It would be helpful to hear from others who have experienced this issue. How have you addressed this?
