  • About mounting ground reaction force plates on a ramp

    Dear All,

I am currently working on a project which requires mounting ground
reaction force plates on an inclined pathway (ramp). We currently have
two Kistler force platforms (60 cm 40 cm 3.5 cm) which are
connected to our eight camera Vicon-Nexus motion analysis system. The
primary objective of this project is to evaluate the kinematics and
kinetics of load carriage along the inclined pathway.

I would like to seek advice from the biomechanics community on how to
set up the force platform along the inclined pathway. If anybody from
the community has built inclined pathways embedded with force plates,
I would greatly appreciate your suggestions/comments/advice.

I will put together a summary of the comments and will post it of the server.

    Thank you!
