Dear netters!
I am currently doing research into computer simulation of injuries due to car
crashes. As a results, I would need some statistical data on common injuries
associated with frontal impacts (either full or offset), and the mechanisms
involved in these injuries. Also, information regarding the actual impacts on
the human body (ie. part of the car that comes in contact, accelerations,
forces, etc.) would be of great help.
Finally, I would appreciate if anybody could forward me the (e-)mailing address
and phone/fax numbers of any governing bodies associated with in-car safety
aspects or related subjects.
Any help, comments or criticisms will much appreciated, and forwarded to this
group.
Thanks in advance,
Kai Leibrandt.
