    Colleagues:

    Please find below a position description for an Assistant Professor
    in Exercise Physiology at the University of Oregon. Your
    assistance in notifying qualified candidates is greatly
    appreciated.

    Position: Exercise Physiology
    Location: University of Oregon, Eugene

    Description: Primary responsibilities include conducting research;
    teaching in exercise physiology at the undergraduate and graduate
    levels; service on theses and dissertation committees; department
    service (student advising and committee participation).

    Qualifications: Candidates should have a doctorate with
    specialization in exercise physiology and demonstrated ability to
    conduct research of publishable and fundable quality. Post-
    doctoral experience is preferred. Expertise in muscle physiology
    and ability to teach human physiology and/or research method
    desirable.
