Dear Subscribers,
As proposed on this list some time ago, the log files for 1988 and for the
first 5 months of 1989 have been deleted (no comments on this proposal were
received). Also, I have edited out some inappropriate LISTSERV requests to
Biomch-L@HEARN from the log file for June 1989. If you send the INDEX
BIOMCH-L request to LISTSERV@HEARN.BITNET or to LISTSERV@NIC.SURFNET.NL, you
will see that file BIOMCH-L LOG8906 has a 1990/11/11 refreshment date.
I propose to go over the various log files and to delete those items that
no longer seem relevant; therefore, I would be grateful for your comments
as regards your own contributions. At the same time, I will try and correct
some contributions for major linguistic errors -- I hope that you will have
confidence in my English `a la N'eerlandaise.
In this fashion, some more storage room might be created for accomodation of
interesting files on this list; some subscribers have intimated to me that
they might be willing to store useful data at LISTSERV@HEARN under Biomch-L
to facilitate (non-profit) exchange of information.
With kind regards -- Herman J. Woltring, Eindhoven/NL.
