    June 28-30, 1995
    Jyväskylä, Finland

The Vth International Symposium on Computer Simulation in Biomechanics
will be held at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland from June 28 to
30, 1995. This Symposium, organized by the ISB Technical Group on
Computer Simulation, is a satellite event to the XVth Congress of the

University of Jyväskylä, July 2-6, 1995.

    Venue

The University of Jyväskylä is located in the capital of the Province
of Central Finland, 270 kilometers north from Helsinki. As an inland
town in the heart of the Finnish lake district, Jyväskylä offers
    pleasant surroundings for the symposium.

    Scope

This Symposium will be a scientific and technical meeting for
investigators of computer simulation in the various fields of
biomechanics. The different forms of presentations such as workshops
and round table discussions enable the participants to see and discuss
specific details of various programs and techniques, as well as share
    latest information relating to methodology.

    Topics

    Numerical Methods
    Locomotion
    Human Movement and Sport
    Control Systems

    Symposium Format

    Oral Sessions
    Software and Hardware Presentations
