JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE:
Assistant Biomechanical Scientist
JOB REQUIREMENT:
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or four years of equivalent training in a
research environment. Full experience with human gait data collection,
processing and analysis. Familiarity with the knee joint structure,
kinematics and kinetics. Knowledge of joint modelling and computer
programming.
JOB FUNCTION:
Perform research tasks related to Orthopaedic Surgery. Interact with the
Chairman and Clinical Staff of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Collaborate with researchers from other Departments within the hospital
to initiate and perform research projects as directed.
WORK LOCATION:
Biomechanics Laboratory, Department of Biological & Medical Research and
Orthopaedic Surgery
