Dear Newsgroup
I am planning to set up a clinical gait analysis service for the
assessment of cerebral palsy children,stroke
rehabilitation, amputees, and lower limb arthritis. Research activities
will be an integral part of the service. I have previous experience in
laboratory based research employing force platform/accelerometers.
The questions I would like to ask are:
(a) what are the essential requirements for a clinical gait analysis
system?
(b) what technologies (packages?) are available that meet these
requirements?
(c) which centres in UK, Europe, USA have wide experience in this
field?
All replies will be collated and summarised, as usual.
