The Bioengineering Division of the American Society of
Mechanical Engineers is encouraging members of the Orthopaedic
manufacturing and medical community to increase their participation in
this rapidly growing division of ASME. The Design and Rehabilitation
Technical Committee is soliciting Abstracts in the following areas:
External Orthotics & Prosthetics
Orthopaedic Implant Design
Adaptive and Rehabilitative Devices
Computer Applications in Biomedical Design
New Materials & Methods for Tissue Replacement
Design of Surrogate Materials for Experimental Animals
Submit Abstract titles by e-mail, fax or surface mail. Information
packets detailing abstract formats will be mailed to parties who submit
titles by January 13th, 1995. Camera ready Abstracts (two 8.5 x 11"
pages) are to be submitted by March 15th, 1995.
