1995 ESMAC MEETING IN ENSCHEDE, THE NETHERLANDS
The fourth annual conference of the
European Society for Movement Analysis in Children will be held
on october 27th and 28th 1995 in Enschede, The Netherlands.
Enschede is the largest city in the east of the Netherlands,
with fast connections to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport by rail and car.
The conference will be held in the (****) Best Western DISH Hotel,
which offers both conference facilities and delegates' accommodation.
The venue is within walking distance of the city centre of Enschede
with its comfortable cafes and restaurants. It is therefore not only
well suited for an efficient scientific meeting but also for
contacts in an informal atmosphere.
Alternative hotel accommodation is available on request.
Conference theme
The conference will address the state of the art in the use
of scientific methods for understanding and treatment of
movement disorders, in particular in children with cerebral palsy.
Scientific programme
The programme will include invited papers, submitted scientific papers
and posters.
Invited speakers are:
Dr. Yves Blanc, Geneva, Switzerland
Dr. Gwyn Evans, Oswestry, U.K.
Dr. David Sutherland, San Diego, U.S.A.
The programme is intended for all professionals who are involved
in the treatment of locomotor disorders, such as physiotherapists,
paediatricians, orthopaedic surgeons, rehabilitation doctors,
physiatrists and biomedical engineers. In addition, because of it's
implications for clinical practice, patients and their organisations,
health care policy makers, and insurance authorities will also find
it very informative.
Furthermore, the conference is held in immediate connection with
an European edition of the Newington/Gillette course on
clinical gait analysis and the European VICON user group meeting.
Abstracts
Abstracts for papers are solicited. Deadline is april 15 1995.
