Dear Biomch-ers:
I recently came across a reference in the Usenet newsgroup sci.engr.biomed for
a book called "Physical Properties of Tissue. A Comprehensive Reference
Book," by Francis A. Duck; Academic Press.
Is anyone familiar with this book and willing to post a SHORT review of its pros
and cons? How does this reference book compare with Yamada's "Strength of
Biological Materials?" Are the properties limited to quasistatic responses (like
Yamada) or are they dynamic? Does this reference include the entire human
body? animals?
Any other pertinent information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike Kleinberger
