  • Hierarchical modelling

    Hi

I am interested in modelling coaching knowledge relating to javelin
throwing in the hierarchical deterministic form as described in Hay and
Reid (1988) Anatomy, Mechanics and Human Motion. I then want to represent
this qualitative model in a quantitive form using biomechanical data
derived from film/video analysis to be used as the knowledge-base of an
    expert system.

Has anyone done any work on putting together a hierarchical model of this
type? Alternatively, can anyone point me to relevant references? Javelin
throwing would be nice but any sports skill would be a start.

I'll summarize any replies and post back to the list.
