Reference lists in reverse

Does anyone out there know of an application that will convert a normal
reference or reference list, in various formats of course, into an Endnote,
Procite or similar file? Or just into a text file that can be picked up by
Endnote or similar? Preferably Macintosh. It would make life for the
obsessive bibiographophile so much easier.
