I am interested in measuring the 3D position and 3D orientation (if possible)
of a single flying object (a radio controlled helicopter, for example).
I am willing to use a system with multiple parts, with some parts on the
object and some parts on the ground.
One such system to measure position might be an ultrasonic emitter on the
object and a set of microphones on the ground. I think something like this
once was commercially available under the name "Grafpen"?
I am also willing to use optical or magnetic systems.
Could you send me the name and address of companies selling such systems?
