Dear Colleagues:
I am looking for information about treatments for cartilage regeneration,
especially in the knee. I would like to know if there are any hospitals
which are currently offering this treatment.
I read an article by Dr Lars Peterson et al., from the University of
Goteborg, Sweden, which have developed a procedure with BioSurface
Technology of Cambridge, MA, involving the growth of chondrocytes in
vitro and then implanting them in the damaged area.
If anyone knows about this or other group doing this kind of research,
please let me know.
