  • Biomechanics Textbook Info Request

    Hello fellow Biomechanics professionals:

I am searching for an appropriate textbook for use
in instructing lower level engineering graduate students
in Basic Biomechanics. Our students are new to the
field of biomedical engineering, but have a strong
background in structures and fluids. We plan to teach the
course from an engineering perspective, therefore the
textbook should be engineering (not physiology) based.
We would prefer a book that includes a broad coverage
of the major topics in human biomechanics with a
    strong treatment of musculo-skeletal mechanics.

I would appreciate any suggestions for a Biomechanics
textbook that would be suitable for these students. Also,
any comments you may have regarding other Biomechanics
texts would be helpful. Please send responses to my address:
    eafriis at twsuvm.uc.twsu.edu
and I will post a summary of the responses.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Have an enjoyable and safe holiday weekend.
