Dear Biomch-L'ers
I am currently busy with the design of a dental force plate, which is
to be used to measure the force distribution as well as magnitude and
direction of forces exerted by the teeth. I believe that there is an
electrically conductive rubber available, which varies in conductivity according
to the applied pressure. I would appreciate it if any technical information
regarding this material could be shared with me. Any further ideas with
regards to a force transducer would also be appreciated. To date I have
been considering piezoelectric film and silicone micro pressure transducers.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
John
