Dear Biomch-l-ers!
I'm writing my Phd-thesis about the mechanical properties of tendons.
Especially I made a lot of experiments regarding the force-relaxation
after elongation.
Recently I made some some experiments with different temparatures and
varying recovery times after elongation.
Can you help me please: How much is known about the thermodynamics of
tendons. Does the tendon behave like rubber or like steel, i.d. does
it cool down or heat up while beeing streched? Are there any review
articles or other interesting publications?
My best regards from Germany!
