SUBJECT: ISB RECOMMENDATIONS FOR STANDARDIZATION
As a reaction to my resume of the discussion on the above topic
posted on 6 October 95, two of those contributors whom I had
(apparently incorrectly) classified as supporters of the ISB
proposals informed me that they did not mean to express support for
the ISB standard.
As a matter of fairness, they should be classified as representing
neutral views, just as the opinion expressed by Dr. Davis does.
Together with the recent opinion given by Dr. Young-Hoo Kwon
(disagreement with the ISB proposals) the current (approximate)
percentage count is: 11.1% (2 out of 18) partial support for some
aspects of the ISB recommendations and 88.9% rejection rate.
