Dear Colleagues,
I have a question to pose to the assembled members of this list.
I am attempting to do FES experiments at the present time using a Computer
controlled stimulator to provide activation, and a CYBEX machine for
torque measurements.
I am using a Cybex 330 machine with the version 3.4 software, and I wish to
obtain an the torque developed about the knee in a time series format so I
can perform a mathematical analysis on the torque data.
My problem is that, apparently, I can't get access to this data. While the
machine is quite willing to plot the data on the screen, and even print it
out the software seems to facilitate the output of certain single torque
values, such as maximum torque developed and min. torque developed.
The machine is actually in our school of Physiotherapy, and they never needed
time series data for analysis previously, they just assumed it was available
if they wanted it.
The European suppliers don't seem to be of any help, but I have seen
time series data presented in papers that others have obtained from such
Cybex machines.
Can somone tell me how to obtain this time series data ?
Many thanks,
Stephen.
