    ErgoCon '96
    Silicon Valley Ergonomics Conference

    May 12-15, 1996


    The Silicon Valley Ergonomics Institute invites proposals for papers,posters,
    workshops, or panel discussions for presentation at ErgoCon '96, the second
    Silicon Valley Ergonomics Conference & Exposition. This interdisciplinary
    convocation of professionals concerned with ergonomics, human factors and
    related fields will take place in Palo Alto, California, May 12-15, 1996.
    ErgoCon'96 will be similarly focused on the positive ways in which
    the principles and methods of Human Factors/Ergonomics can be employed to
    impact productivity, quality, health, accommodation, comfort, and safety.
    Conference organizers invite presentations that highlight applications
    of human factors/ergonomics principles and methods to a broad array of
    concerns: health, safety, comfort, accomodation, productivity, and
    product quality.

    This interdisciplinary conference is intended to attract a broad range of
    professionals, including human factors/ergonomics specialists, safety
    engineers and managers, industrial hygienists, risk managers, industrial
    designers, occupational health nurses, physicians practicing in occupational
    medicine, occupational therapists, physical therapists and chiropractors
    in occupational medicine.

    The proposals should contain thee following information:

    Title (Please do not exceed 60 characters, including spaces)

    Abstract ( A brief description of not more than 50 words)

    Lectures, Posters and Demonstrations ( A summary of no more than three
    pages, containing important points of the proposal in
    succinct form)

    Panel Discussions and Roundtable Topics ( A description of no more than
    three pages, explaining the subject, its importance and relevance)
