POSITION: Associate/Assistant Professor (Biomechanics)
EMPLOYMENT DATE: August 16, 1996
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary instructional responsibilities involve teaching undergraduate
and graduate courses in biomechanics. Individuals qualified to teach
an additional specialization area such as motor learning, athletic
training, adapted physical education or research design/applied
statistics will be given preference. Other responsiblities include
conducting a focused research program, advising graduate students,
pursuing grant/external funding opportunities, and participating in
university/professional service activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED: Earned doctorate with a specialization in biomechanics
College/university teaching experience
Publication record commensurate with senior rank
Familiarity with a force plate, EMG and video analysis
systems
PREFERRED: Expertise in one additional specialization area
Record of extramural support
SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications
