Peak Performance Technologies, Inc. supplies video and computer motion
measurement systems. The new Peak Motus system is Microsoft
Windows-based and features quick transformation of video images into
2D or 3D spatial coordinates. Tracking of any points on the body,
such as the hip, knee and foot, can be done automatically (with the
use of passive markers) or manually and is an easy process completed
using a sequential user interface. Peak Motus calculates linear and
angular displacements, velocities and accelerations for any movement
videotaped in a measurable 2D/3D space, indoors (under visible or
infrared lighting) or out. Data from analog devices such as force
platforms and EMG can be sampled and displayed synchronized with video
images, stick figures and parameter calculations on screen and on
color print outs.
Other Peak products include precision calibration frames for 3D
studies, high speed video systems (60/120 Hz NTSC, 60/180 Hz NTSC,
50/200 Hz PAL) , real-time analog data acquisition software, gait
analysis software, force platforms and EMG devices.
