The Department of Physical Therapy at Medical College of Pennsylvania and
Hahnemann University is seeking 2 new faculty members for its advanced
programs. The Department offers and entry-level MPT, MS in Hand/Upper
Quadrant Rehabilitation, and MS and PhS degrees in Orthopedics,
Pediatrics, and Motor Learning/Control. The University has recently made
a significant commitment of resources to the Department for the expansion
of its graduate programs and research efforts.
Both positions are 12-month, tenure track positions. Both positions are
also available immediately; the searches will remain open until both
positions are filled.
Orthopedic Position - The MS/PhD Program in Orthopedics is seeking an
individual with an earned doctorate in Physical Therapy or a related
field. The successful candidate will be expected to continue his/her own
research and pursue external funding, mentor orthopedic MS and PhD
students, and teach in his/her area of expertise.

doctorate in biomechanics, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
This person will be expected to continue his/her own research as well as
collaborate and provide technical expertise for existing faculty, and
pursue external funding. Teaching responsibilities will be in the areas
of instrumentation and biomechanics, and related areas based on expertise.
