Biomechanical studies on Memory alloys

Hi guys

I would like to have some information on Biomechanical strength studies done
on Memory alloys or Memory metals. I am looking mainly on its application in
Orthopaedics area. If anyone has come across such info. please let me know.
It will be even useful if you have any general information on applications
of memory alloys in orthopaedics sugery.

By the way I am a Biomedical Engineer involved in Research and Development
projects with Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore.
