Pending approval and funding, the Exercise and Sport Science Department at the
University of San Francisco invites applications for two tenure-track
positions anticipated to begin in the Fall of 1996.

Motor Learning and Sports Psychology position: Assistant Professor level.

Sports and Fitness Management position: Assistant/Associate Professor level.
Preference will be given to those qualified candidates who evidence
significant professsional experience, sports management expertise,
demonstrated leadership ability, and strong curricular and program development

Responsibilities for each position are dependent on the candidate's areas of
specialty(ies), may include, inter alia, undergraduate and graduate courses
in the area of specialty, and introductory and advanced lecture, laboratory,
fieldwork, internship, and physical activity courses in the discipline.

Both positions require university teaching experience, evidence of scholarship
, an earned doctorate by Fall, 1996, and an understanding of and commitment to
support the mission of the University. All tenure-track candidates are
expected to develop an independent and ongoing research program.
