A person in our office recently fractured her right humerus approximately
2 inches above the elbow. It was a complete fracture. She has had a
series of casts but her doctor has said that the healing of the break may
result in a 5 degree change in the angle of the bone. That is, the angle
at the break between the upper and lower portions of the humerus could be
as much as 5 degrees. Should she expect any functional changes in her
abilities as a result of this condition? Is there a way this could be
modeled?
