anterior cruciate ligament

I'm looking for information leading to the help of the knee brace
after surgery on your anterior cruciate ligament. Im looking for hard
impact to the superior and inferior on the knee. Especially during
sporting activity Ex football, soccer, etc.... does the knee brace only
work during a certian amount of flexion or does it not work at all, If
