Greetings Biomech-l members,
Many of you will remember my post of several months ago about the young
woman who needed her prosthetic leg replaced, but couldn't afford it. Well
I am happy to tell you that through the assistance of this list, Brenda
Lee got her prosthesis. From the reports I received, she broke out into
spontaneous song which lasted twenty minutes. To say we had a positive
impact on this persons life is an understatement. Special thanks to Joe
Hale and the folks at UVA who made it happen and thanks to all who
responded with suggestions and or encouragement.
