  • Bandwidth and other characteristics of head movement control

Does anyone know the bandwidth (highest frequency) of normal closed loop
head movements? What would the typical 'resolution cell' (noise-limited)
be for head position while siting still and upright with back support?

With the understanding that variability of the above parameters increases
dramatically in disease, are there real-world data characterizing these
movements in people who need to use head-movement for computer control
(e.g. people with cerebral palsy, ALS, etc.)?

We are developing inexpensive methods of head tracking to help people with
disabilities control computers. Knowledge of the above would aid our design.

    Cordially-

    Glenn Myers
