About 80 posters will be presented on Saturday and Sunday. Poster
discussion is scheduled for Sunday afternoon (2 p.m. - 5 p.m.).
An exhibition of several major companies producing research equipment for
movement studies as well as of a number of Publishing Houses is planned.
Conference Proceedings:
An agreement has been reached with Human Kinetics Publishing House to
produce a volume based on the invited presentations.
In addition, accepted abstracts will be published in Proceedings of the
Conference, available during the meeting.

Location:
The conference will be held at the Penn State Scanticon Conference Center
Hotel, the largest university-based conference center hotel of its kind in
the country. Set in the idyllic countryside of central Pennsylvania and
offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, The Penn State
Scanticon is part of Penn State's Research Park adjacent to the University.
It is located in State College, Pennsylvania, in the center of the state on
routes 26 and 322, fifteen miles south of Interstate 80. (Directions and a
map will be sent to you with your registration materials.) For your
convenience, a University shuttle provides transportation between the
conference center, campus, and downtown State College.
State College is on the main east-west route of both the Greyhound and
Fullington Trailways bus lines. USAir Express, Northwest Airlink, and
United Express serve the State College/University Park Airport, located
three miles from the conference site. Rental cars and limousine and taxi
services are available at the airport. A shuttle service from the Airport
to the Conference site will be provided. Private and charter aircraft may
fly into the airport and be accommodated overnight with fuel and
maintenance services available.
Accommodations
First-class rooms with computer hookups have been reserved at The Penn
State Scanticon. In addition to providing the convenience of an on-site
location, The Penn State Scanticon offers translation, fax, and word
processing services, plus a variety of recreational resources for your
relaxation, including an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, and a fully
