Hello,
I am a librarian searching for information on the design of
obstacle courses. Particularly I am looking for obstacle courses used as a
tool in assessing adaptive equipment (walkers, canes, wheelchairs, etc.).
My searching has taken me into the occupational health literature
(fitness assessment for firefighters, police etc), sport literature
(dressage, golfing, obstacle courses as sporting events), the biomedical
literature and on and on. So far the few hits I have found have had the
obstacle course buried somewhere in an article on locomotion assessment.
Very little literature on the courses themselves.
Any advice? I will summarize back to the list.
Thank you,
Sincerely,
Patrick Ellis
