2D warp/calib code

Greetings,

We are trying to calibrate a 2D (photograph and fluroscope) image
using the image of a calibration grid and the exact coordinates of that
grid.

Does any know of/have free code for this 2D transformation and
calibration?

I thought I remembered a similar question earlier, but I could not
find it. I will post a summary.
